Atikameg First Nation, Alta. – High Prairie RCMP is advising the public that the increased police presence within the Atikameg First Nation has ended. An update is expected as more information becomes available. High Prairie RCMP would like to thank the public for their understanding.

High Prairie RCMP advise of heavy police presence
Atikameg First Nation, Alta. – High Prairie RCMP is advising the public of heavy police presence within the Atikameg First Nation, as they search for 23-year-old Paval Laboucan, who fled from police earlier today. There is a significant number of resources focused on apprehending this individual an protecting the public. RCMP ask the public to please refrain from posting photos of responding officers on social media.
Paval Laboucan is described as;
- 6 Feet tall;
- 175 pounds;
- Black hair ;
- Brown eyes;
If you see Paval Laboucan, please call 911. DO NOT APPROACH.
