Golf Course Profiles – Lakeside (Eaglesham)

The Lakeside Golf and Country Club in Eaglesham is our next golf course in the region that we’re profiling.

Duncan Finlayson with the Lakeside course says there are a couple of holes that will challenge golfers.

“Number 9 is a tough one that people struggle with. Number 8 also because it’s got four water hazards along the way. Number 7 is a par 3, but you have to carry it over water to get on the green. Some people think that’s the signature hole, but I would prefer to say that it’s number 9 because you can see the clubhouse on your way in as well.”

Finlayson says they have some other amenities that golfers can enjoy.

“We have the full campground there, full service for 30 some campers in the main lot and another one for seasonal campers and there’s about 20 campsites there that are full service. Of course our clubhouse is really nice. It’s a full service clubhouse with a nice deck and the food is always good.”
