HBO has finally released a teaser trailer for the Last Of Us Tv Series. I am really excited to see how this show turns out. It is based on the games by the same titles and looks to be a retelling of the story. It’s great this story will be brought to another audience through a different medium…my only hope is that it is done well. A common problem when games are brought to the screen is they tend to just be…bad. So, fingers crossed it’s good!
Over…I think the past year… there have been sightings of them filming this show all over. Even here in Alberta. There were videos of people seeing some sets being built and scenes being shot on the streets of Edmonton. The fervor around this show’s production has been super high.
The Story follows Joel and Ellie on a journey through an apocalyptic landscape with threats around every corner. I have played both the Last Of US Part 1 and Part 2 and they are very good games. So if you want to experience them before the show comes out you can find them on Ps4 and Ps5 consoles or if you want to go in blind I think that would be cool as well . From the trailer it seems that they are covering the story from the beginning so if you jump in with the show it seems like you won’t be missing too much.
The YouTube channel GameXplain put out a video with a side-by-side viewing of the teaser and what parts it takes from the game its a quick watch and interesting to see how this game translates to live action television show.
