On March 21, 2025, employees arriving at an oil site near Fox Creek, Alberta, discovered an unlawful entry.
Witnesses followed the suspect to Whitecourt, where RCMP apprehended him.
A search of his vehicle revealed evidence linked to the break-in.
Brett Laramore, 41, of Fox Creek, faces charges including possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of break-in instruments, and break and enter to commit.
He is scheduled to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Whitecourt on June 24, 2025.
