The Peace and Mackenzie regions have seen their fair share of rainfall over the last week.

That is why the province says the fire bans issues have been downgraded to advisories, which applies to the forest protection areas in Alberta.

A fire restriction is in place for: Saddle Hills County, the Municipal District of Fairview #136, Birch Hills County and Clear Hills County.

A ban remains in effect for the County of Grande Prairie #1.

The following is permitted under a fire advisory:

– backyard fire pits
– barbecue charcoal briquettes
– safe wood campfires on public or private lands
