They are providing financial support to Farmers and Ranchers to aid with drought and wildfires from 2023.

The Federal Government has earmarked $219 million dollars, through the AgriRecovery Framework initiative to help deal with lingering costs.

The Government says that the funding will help recover costs and have the tools to continue being resilient from weather and disaster.

This is in addition to financial designations in the Livestock Tax Deferral for 2023, that was announced in August.

The Deferral also allows livestock producers, who were forced to sell to defer a portion of income from sales until the following tax year.

The Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, is the honourable Lawerance MacAulay.
