Agriculture and Forestry Minister Devin Dreeshen says farmers can look forward to a drop of 20 percent insurance payments.
Dreeshen talked to the Trending 55 Newsroom about the announcement and gives an example of how this can help producers in our province.
“A farm with 2,000 insured acres will save about $8,000 this year alone,” says Dreeshen.
“This puts money back in the pockets of farmers right away.”
