Edson RCMP have arrested a woman on Possession of a firearm, and resisting arrest charges.
This after the spotting of a suspicious truck in town, early Friday morning.
Authorities state that the driver sped away in the truck, but was arrested a short time later.
32 year-old Chantelle Basi has also been charged with possession of stolen property, after investigations showed the truck was stolen from Grimshaw.
Basi is also wanted on warrants from Spirit River, Peace River, Hinton, and Edmonton.
She is scheduled in court in the new year.
