Don’t feed the deer!
There have unfortunately been numerous reports of people feeding deer around town. We get it. They look cute and it makes for a fun photo — but PLEASE don’t feed the deer.
Feeding deer has two major consequences:
1. Deer attract predators. If the deer think there’s an easy food source in town, they’ll come through more often, with cougars and wolves trailing behind.
2. Human food is for humans. Feeding deer can make them incredibly sick, and in some cases, it might even kill them.
Please don’t feed the deer.
