COVID-19 UPDATE: September 25

On September 25, Alberta Health Services confirmed 153 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 17,343.

No one passed away over the last 24 hours, but 261 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.

In the North Zone, there are 1,375 cases of COVID-19 and 35 people have passed away.

There are currently 129 active cases in our zone with 14 cases in Mackenzie County.

AHS is reporting that 15,585 people have recovered from the virus.

This means that there are currently 1,497 active cases across Alberta.

To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
