On November 13, Alberta Health Services confirmed 907new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 37,312.
Five people passed away, which means 398 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 2,581cases of COVID-19 and 40 people have passed away.
There are currently 553 active cases in our zone with 40 in the MD of Peace, 22 in the MD of Greenview, 18 in the MD of Fairview, five in Northern Sunrise County and Mackenzie County, while all other jurisdictions in our area have four active cases or less.
AHS is reporting that 28,321 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 8,593 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
