On May 14, Alberta Health Services confirmed 50 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 6,457.
It was also reported that one person in the Calgary Zone passed away.
121 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 228 cases of COVID-19 and 15 people have passed away.
There are currently 20 active cases in our zone.
AHS is reporting that 5,205 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 1,131 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
