COVID-19 update: March 29

On March 29th, the Alberta Government confirmed 40 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 661.

There are currently 45 cases of COVID-19 in the north zone, with 8 cases in the Peace River zone.

73 Albertans have recovered from COVID-19.

There are currently 41 Albertans in the hospital from COVID-19, with 14 in the ICU.

3 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.

To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
