COVID-19 UPDATE: June 2

On June 2, Alberta Health Services confirmed 13 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 7,057.

It was also reported that there were no deaths in the last 24 hours. 143 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.

In the North Zone, there are 246 cases of COVID-19 and 16 people have passed away.

There are currently 17 active cases in our zone.

AHS is reporting that 6,537 people have recovered from the virus.

This means that there are currently 377 active cases across Alberta.

To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
