On June 15, 2021 Alberta Health Services confirmed 127 additional cases of COVID-19 in the province.
There are currently 271 people in hospital with the virus and 68 are in ICU.
The total number of active cases in Alberta is 2,804.
For active cases in our area; there are 39 in Mackenzie County and eleven in the MD of Peace, while all other surrounding counties and MD’s in our region have five active cases or less.
69.4% of eligible people in the province have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 22% are fully vaccinated.
The percentage of people around the region receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is:
- Falher area – 46.2%,
- Peace River area – 42.2%,
- Spirit River area – 40.4%,
- Fairview area – 38.7%,
- Manning area – 38.1%,
- Valleyview area – 37.9%,
- High Prairie area – 33.5%
- High Level area (Mackenzie County) – 13.8%
