On April 3rd, Chief Medical Officer of Health Doctor Deena Hinshaw confirmed 107 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 1075.
There are currently 57 cases of COVID-19 in the north zone.
18 Albertans have now died from COVID-19, including a female in the Edmonton Zone who was in her 20’s
Hinshaw has also reported that 196 people have recovered from the virus.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
