On April 23, Alberta Health Services confirmed 319 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 3,720.
It was also reported that two people passed away.
68 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 154 cases of COVID-19 and 14 people have passed away.
AHS is reporting that 1,357 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 2,295 active cases across Alberta
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
