The weather was in our favor yesterday with minimal wind so the Dozer crews were able to continue to actively secure guards on all sides needed and helicopters were able to access the area and dump where needed. The volunteer Fire departments continued to work on hotspots and protecting any structures in the vicinity.
Currently the east end of the fire is between Range Road 64 and 65 and 3 km South of Highway 64.
Alberta Fire services are anticipating being able to regain a held status by the weekend.
