High winds caused the wildfire to gain some traction last night.
Currently the east end of the fire is between Range Road 64 and 65 and 3 km South of Highway 64.
The wind is calm today and the Dozer crews are actively securing additional guards. The volunteer Fire departments continue to work on protecting any structures in the vicinity.
Winds are expected to be minimal today, however stay alert for changes in weather and watch for updates as we receive them.
