On Friday, October 15 at 9 a.m., the Red Earth Creek RCMP were called out after a reported of a structure fire in Peerless Lake.
The Peerless Lake Fire Services also responded to the scene of the incident.
By the time police arrived, the church was completely destroyed by the blaze.
It is believed no one was harmed in the fire.
Provincial Fire Investigators have been engaged to assist in the investigation.
The circumstances surrounding the church fire and how it started are believed to be suspicious.
The fire is believed to have started some time after 6 a.m. on October 15, 2021.
