The boil water order that was happening in Falher and several communities in the MD of Smoky River has now been lifted.
The Smoky River Water Commission say a number of samplings in recent weeks have confirmed that the water is free of viruses and pathogens.
The order had been in place since late November because of issues with the water treatment plant and a new clarifier had to be put in.
