RCMP announced today they have found a body in the Peace River believed to be that of a 2 year old who went missing near the Canfor Bridge last Friday.
Peace River RCMP were called to a construction berm on the Peace River off 94 Street at around 9:30 A.M. where the body was recovered, about 220 KM away from where the two year old went missing.
Multiple agencies have been searching for the boy for days by ground, water and air since the he went missing on July 6th.
The body has been tentatively identified, and is believed to be that of the missing boy.
RCMP say their thoughts continue to be with the family.
