Big Lakes County cautiously re-opening to the public

Administration buildings in Big Lakes County are now open, but with some rules due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The county’s main office in High Prairie is open but officials say only a maximum of six people can be in the lobby at a time.

The county has also place markers on the floor of the lobby so that visitors can keep the minimum social distance of two metres, and is also placing hand sanitizer at all entrances of the facility.

County staff will also be sanitizing its countertops and debit machines after each use.

The FCSS offices are open but services are available by appointment only at this time.

The Kinuso administration building remains closed, but will open again on June 1 according to officials.
