The Peace River Fire Department is responding to a fire in the North end.
The Apartment fire is happening right across the street from Springfield Elementary School.
Students are being moved away from the area, and busses are being affected.
Residents are being asked to avoid the area, and parents or guardians picking up students are asked to obey authorities who are present.
Children at the Sugarplum Daycare are also being affected, and kids who travelled by bus will need to be picked up by a parent or guardian.
