Restaurants, breweries, food trucks, and coffee shops in Alberta, including in the Peace Region, are participating in the 5th annual Alberta on the Plate promotion.
It’s a dine-around where participating establishments offer fixed-price menus highlighting local producers, growers, distillers, and brewers.
The promotion features over 200 farms in Alberta providing and highlighting ingredients and flavours.
Also, providing relationship-building between food service operators and local farms and producers to create a more sustainable local food economy, is a primary goal of the campaign.
