Opening these systems is a priority to help prevent water buildup and localized flooding.
Once catch basins are cleared, crews will shift focus to grading roadways impacted by soft and saturated conditions.
Town officials are asking residents for patience as work continues, noting that spring thaw conditions can create challenging and rapidly changing situations for both crews and infrastructure, especially with this year’s higher than average snow accumulation.
