Residents of Eaglesham continue to be under a Boil Water Order, but a return to regular water usage appears to be near.
Officials say water service has been restored, but the advisory remains in place until all required testing is completed and approved. A second round of water samples has now been collected and sent to Edmonton for analysis.
If testing comes back clear, there is cautious optimism the Boil Water Order could be lifted early this week, pending final approval from Alberta Health Services.
In the meantime, residents are reminded to continue boiling any water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and other consumptive purposes. Bulk water services remain unaffected and are considered safe for use.
Officials thank residents for their patience as the final steps toward restoring full service are completed, marking more than a week of disrupted water access for the community.
