Blockades are continuing along Hwy 58 at entry points to forestry operations in the John D’Or Prairie area.
The Rights Holders of the Little Red River Cree First Nation have issued a “Cease and Desist” order against Tolko Industries, and Exact Harvesting.
The Nation states the jobs are being done without consultation or Free, Prior and Informed Consent.
The Nation says blockades will remain until consultation occurs.
