
On November 13th, around 1 a.m., Manning RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at an oil site off the Chinchaga Forestry Road in Northern Lights County.
Upon arrival, officers observed two men actively stealing copper from the site.
Kalen Boulet, 31, and Kevin Cassity, 42, were arrested and each charged with Break and Enter to a business, Theft Over $5,000, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Both were held for Judicial Interim Remand hearings and released with conditions.
They are scheduled to appear in Peace River Provincial Court on December 1st.
Manning RCMP urge the public to report any suspicious activity, emphasizing that timely reporting is crucial for effective policing.
