The Fairview Fire Department marked a major milestone today with the arrival of its brand-new rescue truck, a modern apparatus set to enhance emergency response capabilities throughout the community.
The new vehicle replaces the department’s longtime 1992 rescue unit, which has faithfully served Fairview for more than 30 years.
While firefighters noted a sense of nostalgia in retiring the aging truck, excitement is high for the advanced features, improved safety, and increased efficiency the new model will bring to frontline operations.
Fire officials expressed deep gratitude to both the Town and Municipal District councils for their continued support.
Their commitment has played a key role in strengthening local emergency services and encouraging new volunteers to join the department.
Proudly adding the new rescue truck to its fleet, the Fairview Fire Department says the upgraded apparatus will help ensure reliable, effective service to the community for many years to come.
