This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Taya Lebel and her debut single “Life We’re Living” !!! Taya is a young singer-songwriter from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and is looking to make her name and starting off with this track. Taya is learning and growing as an artist in the Saskatchewan country music scene, which despite a smaller pool compared to Ontario or Alberta, is still competitive. The singer-songwriter aspect of her game is developing and is being added to a long career singing but is now getting to put out her own music out in the world.
As mentioned “Life We’re Living” is Taya’s debut single and is one that her boyfriend and guitarist was writing and she convinced him to have it as they co-wrote it. I think this song showcases a great career ahead of her.
