Red Earth Creek RCMP arrest three in B&E

rcmp-3

On October 11, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m., Red Earth Creek RCMP responded to a break and enter.

Officers located a vehicle matching the suspect’s description.

The driver attempted to evade arrest, leading police onto a lease road before on foot, leaving two female passengers behind.

RCMP Police Dog Services tracked and arrested the driver.

The vehicle, stolen from Slave Lake, was loaded with several thousand dollars’ worth of stolen property.

As a result, Conway Laboucan, 37, of Atikameg; Miranda Gladue, 33; and Kayla Cardinal, 28, both of Peace River, were charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property over $5,000.

Laboucan faces additional charges, including failure to stop, committing a crime while masked, mischief under $5,000, and obstructing a police officer.

Gladue and Cardinal were released on conditions, while Laboucan was remanded into custody, scheduled to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake on October 15, 2025.
