
Despite tough times right now, residents in the Mackenzie region are getting ready to display the industry.
The Mackenzie County Ag. Fair and Trade show takes place August 8-9 at the Mackenzie Applied Research Association Experimental Farm, just outside of Fort Vermilion.
Shows, competitions, and entertainment takes the stages for the two-day event.
Plus, eight venues are busy within the event, making the two days a lot of fun for the whole family.
Some fun events are also on the agenda, including the Soap Box Derby, the Foam Party and Spray station, the Guns of the Golden West show, the Pancake Breakfast, the parade, and the Pig Races, to name a few.

Organizers are hoping for a good turnout to what they are calling, “the preparation show for the Fall.”
