Education in Dixonville may continue, even after the closing of the school.
The Dixonville Chartered School Society has cfreated a logo and received applications to submit to Alberta Education, to open the Dixonville Rural Academy.
The Society is also meeting with the Peace River School Division to discuss the use of the School building.
The Society is looking to open the Academy in September of 2026.
