UPDATE
On June 4 2025, in John d’Or Prairie, Alberta, 33-year-old Keifer St. Arnault was fatally stabbed following an argument with brother, Cody St Arnault, who is 28.
Cody has been arrested and charged with manslaughter. remains in custody and is scheduled appear before the Alberta Court of Justice Fort Vermilion June 10,2025.
BACKGROUND
On June 4, 2025, at approximately 3 a.m., Fort Vermilion RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing victim at the local nursing station.
The adult male victim was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation, with assistance from Fort Vermilion RCMP.
An autopsy is scheduled at the Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Edmonton on June 6, 2025.
