Peace River Adventures, a local tourism company owned by Alana and Felix Bergeron, has acquired the former Lions Campground and adjacent Canadian National Railway property in Peace River.

Following a competitive Request for Proposals process, their vision was selected to transform the site into a vibrant adventure hub.

Over the next three years, the Bergerons plan to redevelop the area to enhance the town’s reputation as a destination for adventure tourism.

Mayor Elaine Manzer expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the revitalization of a cherished community resource.

Peace River Adventures currently offers jet boat tours, paddle equipment rentals, guided hiking excursions, and river-based events throughout the summer and fall.
