Terry Jessiman has resigned from the High Level Council, effective April 28, 2025, after announcing his departure during the Regular Meeting of Council.

Jessiman, who is moving out of the community, expressed gratitude for the support he received from the town, council, and Mayor Crystal McAteer.

Mayor McAteer praised Jessiman’s contributions, particularly during challenging times like local fires.

Jessiman, who joined the council in 2017, was actively involved in various boards and committees, including the Airport Beautification Task Force and the Northwest Alberta Regional Emergency Advisory Committee.

His seat will remain vacant until the municipal election in the fall.
