  1. Big Lakes County is talking with the Provincial Government concerning drug awareness education in school, as well as enforcement.
    The request is to ensure programs, that address the needs of students and promote healthy choices regarding substance use, be implemented.
  2. Clear Hills County is now including coyotes in the Wildlife Predator Compensation Program.
    The County says this is a good step to help protect livestock from coyote challenges for farmers.
  3. Even though Wildfire season has ended, Alberta Wildfire authorities are urging people to wait before winter burns start happening.
    Officials are saying for residents to wait until there is at least 15 cm of snow on the ground before undergoing burning projects.
