| There have been some changes made to the Davis Awards for the 2025 awards celebration!
New this year we have made changes to the nomination process that was used in years past. They way the new nomination process works is:
· Go online and nominate your favourite business or individual for the appropriate category. If you want to nominate in more than one category you can fill the form out more than once!
· Any business that is nominated (regardless of number of nominations) is considered a nominee for the 2025 Davis Awards.
· Once the nominations close (November 8) the nominees can accept or decline their nominations.
· If they accept, they will be required to fill out a questionnaire.
· The completed questionnaires are sent to our panel of anonymous (non-chamber affiliated) judges.
· The judge’s scores are used to determine the finalist and winner in each category (excluding the President’s Award and People’s Chamber Choice Award).
Also new this year is that you don’t have to be a Chamber Member to be nominated!
We also have changed or updated some of the award categories. The Categories for the 2025 Davis Awards are:
Business of the Year (There are 2 awards in this category, one for 1-9 employees and one for 10+ Employees)
Community Impact Award
Outstanding Customer Service Award
Business Leader of the Year
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Marketer of the Year
The President’s Award and People’s Chamber Choice Award are also awarded but are not open to nomination.
