The Alberta Pulse Growers are looking to grow with new Board Members and Advisors.
The Pulse Growers are holding regional meetings, one of which is next month in Fairview, to help grow the industry.
In the Peace Region, seven advisory positions are available for people to let their name stand to have their say.
Also during the meeting and AGM, Lentils after Lunch will be presented, which is labelled as a Candid Conversation with a Researcher, Farmer and Marketer.
One of the speakers during the presentation, is the Zone 4 Representative with the Alberta Pulse Growers, Peter Konstapel.
The Alberta Pulse Growers Commission represents 5,400 growers of field pea, dry bean, lentil, chickpea, faba bean and soybean in Alberta.
Nomination deadlines for Advisory positions is November 4th, with the regional meeting being held Tuesday November 12 at the Dunvegan Inn and Suites in Fairview.
