
RCMP officers in High Level have laid charges from a shooting that happened back in June.
Police were investigating the reports of shots fired at the Circle-K convenience store, and the investigation has revealed that the shooting was targeted.
Two people from John D’or Prairie, one from High Level and another from Fort Vermilion are facing numerous charges.
Cornell D’or (26), a resident of John D’Or Prairie, was charged with:
– Reckless Discharge of Firearm;
– Possession of Prohibited Weapon (x2)
– Possession of Firearm in Vehicle;
– Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
– Possession Contrary to Order (x4)
– Using Firearm in Commission of Offence
– Unsafe Storage of Firearm Pointing a Firearm
– Possession of Schedule 1 Substance (Cocaine)
Joey Nanooch (28), a resident of Fort Vermilion, was charged with:
· Reckless Discharge of Firearm;
· Possession of Prohibited Weapon (x2)
· Possession of Firearm in Vehicle;
· Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
· Using Firearm in Commission of Offence
· Unsafe Storage of Firearm
· Pointing a Firearm;
· Possession of Schedule 1 Substance (Cocaine).
Patrick Nanooch (32), a resident of High Level, was charged with:
· Reckless Discharge of Firearm;
· Possession of Prohibited Weapon (x2)
· Possession of Firearm in Vehicle;
· Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
· Using Firearm in Commission of Offence
· Unsafe Storage of Firearm
· Pointing a Firearm;
· Possession of Schedule 1 Substance (Cocaine)
Kassidy Sewepagaham (24), a resident of John D’Or Prairie, was charged with:
· Reckless Discharge of Firearm;
· Possession of Prohibited Weapon (x2)
· Possession of Firearm in Vehicle;
· Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
· Using Firearm in Commission of Offence
· Unsafe Storage of Firearm
· Possession of Schedule 1 Substance (Cocaine)
They’ve all had one court appearance already and will have more in the near future.
