Mayor Brian Panasiuk, on behalf of Council, is pleased to announce that Hermann Minderlein has been appointed as the Interim CAO (Chief Administrative Officer) for the Town of High Prairie effective Thursday, September 12, 2024.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Hermann as our Interim CAO” says Mayor Brian Panasiuk. “This position is key to ensuring our administration has a strong yet  approachable leader to build cohesive teams ensuring we continue to provide residents with excellent services, programs and infrastructure.”

Mr. Minderlein has had a series of progressive senior leadership roles with municipalities (Treasurer, Director of Corporate Services, CAO) over the last 19 years including the Town of High Prairie. Hermann has worked with numerous multi-disciplinary teams, community groups, Boards, and Councils providing long-range planning, policy, mediation and financial advice.

Prior to beginning his work with Municipalities, Hermann was employed in the Not for Profit Seniors’ housing industry, and this was preceded by 26 years of working with the Canadian Armed Forces both in uniform, and as a public servant.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to once again return to the Town as the CAO for the Town” said Hermann. “I am looking forward to working hard to support Council, the community and staff.”

Please join Council in welcoming Hermann to the Town of High Prairie.
