They are celebrating a successful event with the highest turnout, the highest participation, and the anticipation of next year.

Open Farm Days took place in August, where farms and ranches opened their doors to the public to explore how the operation proceeds.

People of all ages chose from a variety of farms to explore from mazes, wineries, and petting zoos, to craft breweries, and farms with fruit, vegetables, honey, and u-pick operations.

The timing of the event was also pretty good, as farmers were able to participate, and then get right into the early start to the Harvest season.

Over 150 farms took part in 2024, making the event the most successful one ever, and having authorities anticipating an even-better year next year.

The CEO of the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies, is Tim Carson.
