- The County of Northern Lights is reporting an increase of vandalism to Road Signs in the County.
It is said to pose a significant risk to safety to drivers, and will result in criminal charges to offenders. - Speed is being attempted to be reduced in the Village of Berwyn.
Council has approved the adding of trial Speed Bumps at the intersections of 55th Avenue and 50th Street, as well as 54th Avenue and 50th Street.
Council also directed the Administration to provide pricing to convert the intersections at 49th Street and 50th Street, and 50th Street and 50th Avenue to four-way stops. - Towns around the Peace Region are recognizing the High School Graduates. Public works are hanging banners of the Class of 2024 around town.
Grimshaw is displaying theirs, with Peace River, Fairview, Manning and High Level showing their congratulations this month as well. - A lot of rain over the past few weeks has alleviated some drought concerns in the region.

Over 14,000 more households will have the capability to connect, including on the Swan River First Nation near Kinuso, and in Little Buffalo.
Over $370 million dollars to more than 50 projects have been committed to over 300 communities in Alberta. - Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides is scheduled to provide an update on “limiting distractions” in Alberta schools via the use of cellphones and social media.

- A mix of Sun and Cloud is in the forecast for today in the Northwest, with temps in the mid teens. Lows tonight will be cool, even nudging the freezing mark in the Peace.
