The countdown is in the final stages of farmers hosting a popular event.
The 2024 Open Farm Days is scheduled for mid-August, but the registration deadline is fast approaching.
April 30th is the end-date to submit applications for hosting duties during the event, with first-time and experienced farmers and ranchers opening up their business and industry.
Officials say that over 100 organizations sign up, with about 40% of them being first-time hosts of the event.
Authorities are also saying this is an excellent opportunity for residents to take in the farming aspect and one of the life-bloods of the Peace and Mackenzie regions.
