The Fairview Golf Club is the next golf course in the region that we are profiling.
General Manager David Atmore says golfers will be tested by a number of water hazards.
“This year again we’re in just fantastic shape. We’re quite a unique nine hole golf course. There’s water on pretty much every hole and the addition of a total new irrigation system this spring has got the whole golf course in just great shape.”
Atmore says hole #5 is one of their popular ones.
“It’s a par 5 that’s about 570 yards. It’s a dogleg right that goes over a big pond and a real ugly pump house on the right hand side. We can also use it as a par 3 over the water so it’s a pretty nice looking hole.”
