Northern Sunrise County Wildfire Update
Firefighting crews from Northern Sunrise County and the MD of Smoky River worked all day yesterday, May 16, securing a fire guard to keep wildfire SWF068 east of Range Road 191 and south of TWP Road 804. As of 15:00 hours today, May 17, the fire guard has held. Forestry crews are still working in the area, cutting a guard near power lines.
