Town Council in Peace River has passed three bylaws for debentures to incur indebtedness.
- Council has authorized $150,000 to Hydrant Replacement,
- $900,000 to purchase the Fire Hall, and
- just over $1 million dollars to the Bio Solids Handling Facility Remediation.
Council has also approved a $2 increase to monthly garbage and recycling collection fees.
Council has appointed Patricia LaLonde as a new member of the Library Board.
The PR Town Council Meeting was held on Tuesday night, and it was moved from the holiday Monday.
