Operating hours have temporarily changed for the La Crete Advanced Ambulatory Care Centre due to a physician shortage in the community.
The reduced hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from October 18 – 22, 2021. The normal hours are usually 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Nurses will stay on site until 9 p.m. each night, providing triage and assessments, and if necessary , referrals to the St. Therese General Hospital in Fort Vermilion, 45 kilometres away.
Patients are still asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.
Regular hours will return on October 23, 2021 at 10 a.m.
