
On October 15, Alberta Health Services confirmed 244 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 21,443.
One person passed away, and 288 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 1,594 cases of COVID-19 and 35 people have passed away.
There are currently 130 active cases in our zone with six cases in Mackenzie County, while all other areas in our area have three active cases or less.
AHS is reporting that 18,417 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 2,738 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
